Redmi Note 5 Pro, which is Redmi Note 5 in certain countries, is one of the best sellers of Xiaomi, thanks to its good hardware specifications and competitive price. On XDA, you can find several custom ROMs for Redmi Note 5 Pro. The latest addition is based on Samsung Experience 9.5 firmware of Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Samsung Experience 9.5 port installation procedure on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 (Pro) is same as any other custom ROM. The firmware includes Google Apps, but few things do not work properly. The Samsung camera does not work properly and you need to install a third-party app. Also, you must disable location access of weather widget.

Samsung Experience 9.5 is based on Android Oreo for Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Xiaomi is not yet announced official Android 9 Pie update for Redmi Note 5 Pro, but several custom ROMs based on the Android 9 Pie are available for the device.

How to Install the Samsung Experience 9.5 ROM on Redmi Note 5 Pro

1. Download the ROM zip file from development page here and save it on your phone.

2. Boot your Redmi Note 5 Pro into TWRP.

3. Select Wipe > Advanced wipe > and wipe cache, data, dalivk cache and system.

4. Now, select Install in TWRP, navigate and flash the ROM zip file (just saved on the device)

5. Once the installation has finished, return to the main menu, select Reboot, and then System.
