MIUI 12 is the latest Android skin from Xiaomi. It offers several usability features and customizations to enhance the smartphone experience. Many Xiaomi phones have updated to MIUI 12, but it brought an annoying issue on some phones. Many users report about apps icons disappearing from the home screen of their phone.

  1. Open Settings menu on your Xiaomi phone and tap on Home screen option.
  2. Next, tap on Home screen selection menu. You will see two options- Regular and With App drawer.
  3. Choose Regular and save the settings.

This setting will solve the icon disappearing issue on Xiaomi phones running MIUI 12. Restarting the phone will not affect the order of your preferred apps icons.

But, if you prefer to have app drawer functionality on your phone, wait until the next MIUI launcher update or install an older version by downloading from APK Mirror.
