The latest B195 software update (EMUI version 9.0.0.195) for Honor 10 adds ViLTE feature, improves camera EIS and AI photography, fixes ringtone issue and installs February 2019 security patches. Android Pie based update is currently available for Honor 10 sold in India. The 9.0.0.195(C675E5R1P9) update is rolling out through over the air. Here is how to update manually.

Honor 10 was launched in May 2018 with EMUI 8.1 (Android 8.1 Oreo) out of the box and later updated to EMUI 9.0 (Android 9 Pie). The new B195 update adds ViLTE video calling feature and Ride Mode to the device. Recently, Honor 10 Lite has also received ViLTE feature through EMUI version 9.0.1.149 update.

The B195 update has also includes some critical bug fixes. It fixes an issue where system ringtone cannot use, optimizes power consumption of apps, fixes camera EIS (electronic image stabilization) not work and AI photography mode do not respond occasionally.

Download and Install OTA for Honor 10

The 9.0.0.195(C675E5R1P9) OTA update with February 2019 security patch is live now for Honor 10. The update weighs around 747MB in size. Go through the following steps to capture the latest OTA update or download and install it manually.

Method – 1

1. Install latest version of HiCare app from Play Store

2. Open the HiCare app > Log in > Select country/region > Agree to the User Agreement and Privacy Notice.

3. Now, go to Update > Request update > Apply > Checking for new system update > Download and install.

Method – 2

1. Go to Settings app and select “System”.

2. Choose “System updates”.

3. If the update is live in your region, you will see an “Install Now” option.
