Samsung Galaxy J6 (also known as Galaxy On6) starts receiving the Android 9 Pie update. It includes Samsung’s latest Android skin One UI, several new features, bug fixes, optimizations, and the latest security patches. Currently, Galaxy J6 models SM-J600G and SM-J600F are receiving the update (firmware version J600GUBU3BSCA and J600FXXU3BSCA).
The Android 9 Pie over the air update for Galaxy J6 (Galaxy On6 in some region) starts rolling out. Check it by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install. In case you want to install the One UI update manually on your J6, download the firmware from the link below and flash manually.
This new update (version BSCA ) brings several new features on Galaxy J6. The most important is One UI, Samsung latest Android skin on top of Android 9 Pie. March 2019 security patches (patch level 2019-03-01) new UI, new adaptive features, and more are other changes in this update.
