Xiaomi’s Poco F1 (Pocophone) was last year’s flagship killer as it features top-notch specs and affordable price. Now, the good news is that Xiaomi invites Poco F1 users to test the upcoming Android Q on their device. Interested users can apply for Android Q based MIUI update for Poco F1. Here’s how it is.

As you may know, Xiaomi will discontinue MIUI Global Beta ROM from July 1, 2019, so the company now tests stable ROM before the public release. It means, the company invites users to test stable ROM on their device to make it perfect.

Besides the Android Q update for Poco F1, Xiaomi is also invites Mi 6, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A users to test Android 9 Pie based MIUI update. Users having these phones are eligible to apply for testing the pre-release version of MIUI Global Stable build.

If you own any of the devices – Poco F1  (Android Q) , Mi 6, Redmi 6/6A (Android P) – and have knowledge on MIUI ROM, then you can apply for the update. There is no region restriction and the application deadline is July 7, 2019.. so act quickly. Selected members will be notified on July 10, 2019 via private message in the Mi Community.

Requirements to apply for the update:

  • Should have Unlocked Bootloader on the device
  • The version is unstable. Please backup important data to cloud service or computer local before upgrading.
  • Leaking Nightly Rom Links and package is strictly probhited and user will be banned from beta team and his accout will be banned
  • Must be using latest MIUI Global Stable ROM
  • Knowing well about Mi flash tool and willing to cooperate with developers to investigate the problem
  • Must be active on the other countries community
  • Willing to discuss with other members in QQ group
  • Have the self-rescue ability of a certain flash failure, willing to bear the risk of upgrade failure
  • Application for other devices won’t be accepted
