Realme 3 Pro is a real competitor for Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 Pro. The under 15K device features Snapdragon 710 AIE Octa-core processor, dual rear camera (16MP+5MP), 25MP AI front camera, 4045 mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge 3.0, 4GB/6GB RAM and more. Launched with Android 9 Pie as ColorOS 6.0, the company recently released a new update (build RMX1851EX_11_A.15) with many added features.

Along with the June 2019 security patch, the new update for the Realme 3 Pro build RMX1851EX_11_A.15 adds several new features to the device. For example, 240FPS Slow-Mo video recording, new swipe gesture for full-screen navigation mode, lock screen magazine function, theme store, etc.

Realme started rolling out the latest ColorOS 6.0 OTA update for the Realme 3 Pro. Since this is the staged rollout, it will take a couple of days to complete. If you have not installed the Android Q Beta, check for the OTA by going to System update menu.

How to Install ColorOS update on Realme 3 Pro

If you want to install the latest update manually, then follow our guide. You need to install a big file (2.65 GB), so ensure enough space on your device. Also, back up all required files before starts the installation.

1. Download the firmware zip file from above and copy the zip file to the root directory of your phone.

2. Turn off the phone. Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power buttons simultaneously until booting into recovery mode.

3. In recovery, select language > From phone storage > Select the ColouOS OTA package > tap OK to install the OTA.
Once installation completes, tap Reboot to boot your phone into new ColorOS version.
