Google officially released Android 13 on August 15, 2022, with several new features, improvements, and fixes. The update began to roll out for eligible Pixel phones. And Google confirmed that other smartphone brands, such as Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi, Realme, etc., will also get the Android 13-based stable update later this year.

If you own a Samsung Galaxy phone, you may want to know when your phone will receive the One UI 5.0 stable update. Samsung has already started One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 beta testing on Galaxy S22 series devices, and it might be available on other eligible devices soon. Features of One UI 5.0 Based on Android 13

Android 13 has several new features. Per-app language preferences, more themed app icons, new media player controls, better security and privacy, the ability to copy text and media from one Android device and paste it to another, and more are some of the new additions to the update.

Based on Android 13, the One UI 5.0 skin will bring more powerful personalization and makes it easier to get things done across your Galaxy devices. More options for the color palette, stack widgets on the Home screen, OCR function in Gallery and Keyboard, new permission dialogs, new security and privacy hub, new multi-tasking gestures, smooth animations, improved design, and Share notes app are some of the new features of One UI 5.0.

Samsung One UI 5.0 Release Date

As mentioned, Samsung Galaxy devices will get the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update later this year (2022). According to the previous release pattern of One UI updates, Samsung may unveil the One UI 5.0, based on the Android 13 stable update, in October 2022.

As you may know, the Galaxy S22 series devices will be the first to get the stable One UI 5.0 upgrade, and it may reach the device by mid-October 2022.
