Xiaomi has updated MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM to version 7.9.22 with fixes and optimizations. MIUI 9 Global Beta 7.9.22 Fastboot and Recovery images are now available for download on supported devices (such as Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 3, Redmi 4 Redmi 4A, Mi 5, Mi Max, Redmi 3S, etc). The latest MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 7.9.22 version fixes force close issue when long pressing virtual button, fixed issue of recently used pictures were rotated automatically, added features to show news feed directly in Mi Browser, and more. Below are the main changelog of the update.

Note: The update suspended for many devices, such as Mi 4i, Redmi 2, Redmi 3, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm / Redmi Note 4X due to unknown reason. Other device users can download and install it right now.

If you are already running on the MIUI Global Beta ROM, you will get the MIUI 9 Global Beta 7.9.22 via OTA or update manually by downloading the Recovery firmware. Other users should install Fastboot firmware, which will also wipe data from the device.
