Xiaomi POCO F1 comes with a decent camera app on-board with lots of extra features like AI Scene detection, AI Beautify 4.0, precise Bokeh effect, Smart identification, real time optimization and much more. However, some users might want even more perfection on their photos. Google’s camera app with HDR+ mode and Portrait Mode will let you take stunning photos with your POCO F1.

Hee is how to install Google Camera on POCO F1 without Root. Usually, latest Google Camera app will not work on any phone other than Pixel phones. There is Google camera port for non-Pixel phones, but you should have Camera2 API enabled on the phone, which requires unlocked bootloader or root access. Fortunately, Xiaomi POCO F1 comes with Camera2 API enabled by default.

Thanks to the developer BSG who managed to port the Google Camera app v5.1.0.8 for Xiaomi POCO F1 (POCOPHONE F1). The ported Google Camera app APK is now available for the device that you can install just like any other APK file. As said above, it does not require unlocked bootloader or root privilege as the phone already has Camera2 APIs.

Download and Install Google Camera app for Xiaomi Poco F1

– Download the camera port APK from XDA hub here to your phone

– Go to download folder and install it just like any other APK file.

Note that the app is not bug free. Smart Burst and Slow Motion features are not working, but all other features are working well, such as HDR+ mode, Portrait Mode, manual Saturation control, RAW functionality, etc.

You can also install the ported Google camera app on other Xiaomi phone that uses a Snapdragon 710, 820, 821, 835, 845 processors. For example, you can install the APK on Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Xiaomi Mi 8, Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition and Xiaomi Mi 8 SE without root.
