Huawei started rolling out Android 9 Pie beta based EMUI 9.0 update for Honor View 10 with build number 9.0.0.108. Currently available for European variant Honor View 10 (BKL-L09 C432), other regions will get the update sooner or later. Users who are signed up for Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 Beta program will get the B108 update soon. You can also download the EMUI 9.0 Beta (BKL-L09 9.0.0.108) update and install on Huawei Honor View 10.

Huawei’s refined EMUI 9.0 is based on Android 9.0 Pie that integrates simplistic and natural design language with the original Android style. This version adds multiple emotion designs in lifestyle, shopping, and security, delivering a more comfortable and convenient user experience. In addition, users can enjoy Android 9.0 Pie native features like the new Quick Settings UI design, redesigned volume slider, Adaptive battery, Adaptive Brightness and much more.

Installation Instructions:

Note: Below guide requires a device with bootloader unlocked, FRP unlocked and rooted. Unfortunately, Huawei stopped bootloader unlocking service from May 2018, so if you have not already unlocked, you are unlucky.

Warning: Please follow this guide at your own risk. We can’t take responsibility for anything that goes wrong.

1. Download EMUI Beta flashing tool v0.2 to your PC (source).

2. Download EMUI 9 beta firmware for your Huawei Honor View 10 from above link to your PC

3. Unzip the EMUI Beta flashing tool.

4. Unzip EMUI 9 Beta firmware zip file and save all the content inside the flashing tool. (Firmware zip file consists ZIP and XML files)

5. Enable OEM Unlock and USB Debugging on your Honor View 10 in Developer Options menu.

6. Connect the phone to PC via USB cable.

7. Run FLASH.bat inside of the unzipped folder. It will guide you through the installation process.

Note that, after installation, you may need to factory reset your phone if it does not boot. If above method does not work, you may try HuRUpdater method or dload method.
