Virtual keyboard is an extension for Google Chrome developed by Google to help users to input text in non-Latin script-based languages.

But this extension can also be used for defeat keyloggers from disclosing our login details (user names & passwords) and other sensitive information to hackers.

Keyloggers is a small program that can log your key presses and transmit this to a hacker’s server. If you enter confidential details like passwords, credit card numbers, etc directly through your keyboard there are many chances to disclose these details to hackers.

The Virtual keyboard extension adds a virtual keyboard to text fields, password fields and text areas in Google Chrome.

It supports more than 80 different keyboard layouts and you can configure them through the options page. To switch between layouts you can use the shortcut key Ctrl+Q.

To enable or disable keyboard on all tabs, either click on the page action icon in the Omnibox or press Ctrl+Space.
