Although Google’ latest camera feature ‘Night Sight’ isn’t available on the Pixels 3, a modified version of the application has already been available for older Pixel phones and the result seem promising. The good news is that the working Night Sight is now available for other smartphones too. For now, Night Sight works only on Essential Phone and Xiaomi Mi 5, though the port is available on other phones like OnePlus 6.

Night Sight is a low light photography feature of latest Google camera app that brings great results in low light without using a flash. Since both Essential Phone and Xiaomi Mi 5 do not have Visual Core, the result of Night Sight isn’t as good as it in Pixel 2 and Pixel 3. However, the result seems encouraging.
