Asus ZenFone Max M2 gets August 2019 security patch and long charging protection function. The latest update v16.2018.1908.48 carries the aforementioned features along with improved charging efficiency, general bug fixes and optimizations. The OTA update is available for ZenFone Max M2 ZB633KL variant.

The long charging protection function for Asus ZenFone Max M2 will extend the battery lifespan. It is comes packed with a 4000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. If it has charged from Zero to full (0 – 100%) on a regular basis will affect the lifespan of the battery. The long charging protection will help you protect the battery some extend.
