The MIUI team has released MIUI 8.2.5.0.MCFMIDL Global Stable ROM for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon variant. This is mainly a bug fixing update and includes various optimizations and general bug fixes. Based on the Android Marshmallow, MIUI 8.2.5.0.MCFMIDL incremental OTA update starts rolling out and will reach on all Redmi Note 4 (Qualcomm variant) in the coming days.

You can also download and flash the MIUI V8.2.5.0 Global stable ROM manually on Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon variant. Recovery and fastboot images are now available for download, which you can install via Updater app or via Fastboot. Check out the guide below. Highlights of MIUI V8.2.5.0 Global Stable ROM for Redmi Note 4:

– Fix for couldn’t use mobile data or reset APN after setting Thai as the system language
– Gallery app optimized to use less power
– Fix for photos disappeared from the hidden album in some cases
– Fix for volume controls did not work properly with Mi Bluetooth speakers

For your information, Android 7.0 Nougat based MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM has already been available for Snapdragon variant Redmi Note 4/4X, which means you will get the stable build of Android Nougat update soon, most probably this month May.
