The third beta of Android Q is officially released and brings plenty of new features. Google has posted Android Q Beta 3 images for all the Pixel phones, including the new Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL. You’ll also be able to install the new build on select devices from Asus, Essential, Nokia, Huawei, LG, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sony, Tecno, Vivo, and Xiaomi.

Android Q Beta for Realme 3 Pro:

Download Android Q beta for Realme 3 Pro (P2Q.ozip) from this link and follow below guide to install it.

If you want to rollback to previous ColorOS 6.0, then download the rollback package (Q2P.zip) from this link and follow the below guide to roll back it.

Note that both processes will wipe data from the phone, so backup all content before continue. Also, before continue read the known issues of this build in the below paragraph.

Installation Guide:

1. Download the latest ROM upgrade package from the link above

2. Copy ROM upgrade package to mobile phone storage.

3. Press the power button and choose to shut down.

4. Press and hold the power button + volume down to enter recovery mode.

5. Select Install from storage device -> From phone storage -> P2Q.ozip to upgrade.

6. Wait system upgrade to reach 100% (about 3mins), then select Reboot.

7. You have successfully updated!

Note: Follow the above same steps to roll back your device to ColorOS. Use rollback package instead of upgrade package.

Android Q is the pre-release version of the upcoming Android 10, so not all features works as expected on Realme 3 Pro.

Known bugs of Q Beta 3 for Realme 3 pro are the following:

– Fingerprint will not work
– Cannot transfer files from phone to PC and vice versa
– AVI format video cannot play, but audio will work
– Accessibility touch vibration cannot turn off
– Short black flicker when opening front and back camera
– Filter issue when taking picture during video recording
– No focus icon in the preview window under sports and sunset mode
– The dialer app force close when making a call with 2 sim card plugged in.
– APE format audio in the Files will not play
– Pattern, PIN and Password screen lock will not work
– Adaptive brightness function is not working
– Power on time is a little long, which is almost one and a half minutes
