OnePlus 6 and 6T starts receiving a new OxygenOS Open Beta 12 and Open Beta 4 update with quick reply in landscape mode for messages, world clock with weather information and more. As usual, OnePlus announced the update on the official support forum along with details of new features and improvements. OxygenOS Open Beta 12/4 for OnePlus 6/6T is now available for download.

A similar update has also been available for OnePlus 5/5T with support for quick reply in landscape mode for messages and other improvements. Other important features of OxygenOS Open Beta 12/4 are optimizations for screenshot function, OnePlus Laboratory for OnePlus 6 and enhanced gaming mode. OnePlus 6/6T users who have already installed an OxygenOS Open Beta build will receive the new version as a normal OTA update.

If you have not received the OTA update yet, check it by going to System update menu. If you would like to move from the stable OxygenOS version to Open Beta, then you can download full firmware and install it manually.
