OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T have received a new software update in the stable channel. Latest OxygenOS 9.0.7 update adds new features to both phones such as Screen Recorder, Fnatic Mode (both are features of OnePlus 7 series phones), and Quick Reply in Landscape mode. The update also caries June 2019 security patch, which will increase security on the phone.
OxygenOS 9.0.7 update will fix the Speed Dial issue on both phones. It will also improve the overall performance of the phone with general bug fixes and optimizations. The next stable update (OxygenOS 9.0.8) possibly will add the Zen Mod to OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T that will help you keep away from the screen and back to life for 20 minutes. This feature is already available with the latest Oxygen OS Open Beta 35/33.
OnePlus starts rolling out the OxygenOS 9.0.7 OTA update for both devices globally. Users will soon get the OTA update notification, else download it from the link below (OTA and Full ROM) and install it manually. However, we do not recommend the manual method for non-techie.

Download and Install OxygenOS 9.0.7
OxygenOS 9.0.7 OTA update is live now for both OnePlus 5 and 5T. You can also use Oxygen Updater app or a VPN app to download the OTA by setting the location to Germany or Canada.

Installation
- Transfer the downloaded firmware zip file to your phone storage (do not put in any folder).
- Go to Settings > System update > click the ‘settings’ icon on the top right corner and choose ‘Local upgrade’
- Locate the firmware zip file and tap on ‘Install’ to confirm.
The update will takes about a minute to complete. Once done reboot your device to boot into the latest Oxygen OS.
