OnePlus released OxygenOS 9.5.8 update for OnePlus 7 with August security patches, fix for quick settings menu dropdown issue and system improvements. The OTA update is now available for global and EU OnePlus 7 units. You can also download and install the OTA or full firmware from below link.
A couple of days back OnePlus 7 Pro has updated to OxygenOS 9.5.11 with August security patch, improved touch screen sensitivity, Adaptive Brightness optimization, etc. The OxygenOS 9.5.8 update caries optimized Adaptive Brightness, updated GMS (June 2019) along with general bug fixes and optimizations.
OxygenOS 9.5.8 includes the following changes:
- Optimized Adaptive Brightness
- Fixed the issue with quick settings menu dropping down due to accidental touches, while on a call
- Updated GMS to 2019.06
- Updated Android security patch to 2019.08
- General bug fixes and improvements
OnePlus starts rolling out the OTA update. If you haven’t received the update notification on your OnePlus 7, check it by going to Settings > System Updates > Check for OTA updates. Alternately, download the full OTA/full update zip file from below link and install manually.

To install the firmware update manually, all you need to save the downloaded zip file in the root directory (not in any folder) of your OnePlus device, go to System updates menu and choose Local Upgrade. Your phone will start installing the update. (source)
