OnePlus 6 has received new software update in the beta channel. The latest Oxygen OS Open Beta 9 comes with updated security patch (December 2018), new features, bug fixes and optimizations. One of the new features is that OnePlus 6 sow supports migrating data directly from Apple iPhone with the latest Oxygen OS Open Beta 9 update. The OTA update is now available for download.

Another new feature of Oxygen OS Open Beta 9 is that OnePlus 6 will now show call history for incoming calls from unknown numbers. The update also includes new camera app (v 3.0.9), new icon for Nightscape, show toast message when parallel apps are unavailable due to data corruption, and more. While, the previous OxygenOS Open Beta 8 brought several new interesting features to the handset, such as Audio Tuner for Bluetooth ad Type-C earphones, improved slow motion video, etc.

The OxygenOS Open Beta 9 OTA is now rolling (weighs 147MB) and it will take few hours or even few days to get on all phones running on the Open Beta channel. You can also download full OTA update from the link below and flash manually.

To install the update, save the file on your phone, power down the phone, and then boot it into recovery by using Volume Down and Power button combination. Choose “Install from internal storage”, find your .zip file and flash it. Your device will reboot automatically after installing the OS.
