The TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project), the most popular and loved custom recovery of Modding fans, is now officially available for a new range of Android devices. Motorola One Power, Moto Z3 Play and Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) are the most recently added devices. Official TWRP support is always a very important matter for tech-savvy users, as it is necessary to backup system, flash custom ROMs, and other Mods.

Motorola One Power was launched under the Android One program with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. This mid-range device features stock Android enhanced with Moto Experience and guarantee Android Pie and upcoming Android Q software updates. Moto Z3 Play is another mid-range device, but I think it is probably one of the most underrated devices of the year 2018. As usual, Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) is a classic, mid-high-end device with excellent specifications and design.

TWRP Recovery offers additional features over stock recovery, such as create full system backups (Nandroid backup), restore the backup, flash custom ROMs, Mods, Apps, and more. Above all TWRP is the starting point for making changes that are more interesting on your Android smartphone.

Note that before installing a TWRP recovery on your Motorola One Power and Moto Z3 Play, please note that you need to unlock its bootloader, which means your device’s warranty will void, so proceed at your own risk. In addition, unlocking your bootloader will cause you to lose all of the data from your phone, so be sure to back up any necessary information.

Note: For or Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus requires Odin tool to install TWRP recovery.
