Samsung Galaxy Note 5 N9208 starts getting November security update (patch level 2017-11-01) with build number N9208ZTS3CQK1. The update includes fix for KRACK Wi-Fi exploit vulnerability along with patches for 61 other vulnerabilities. The Galaxy Note 5 (N9208) variant in Taiwan has received the update with build number N9208ZTS3CQK1 and update for other regions are imminent.

The update (N9208ZTS3CQK1) for Galaxy Note 5 is still based on Android 7.0 Nougat and does not include any new features other than November 2017 Android Security patches and general bug fixes. Note that all users are recommended to update their device to this latest version, as it will patch several critical vulnerabilities.

The incremental OTA (over the air) update start rolling out and the update notification will get on all devices shortly. You can also update your Galaxy Note 5 to latest version manually via Samsung Smart Switch, Kies or Odin.
