OnePlus releases OxygenOS Open Beta 28 and Open Beta 26 for OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T respectively. Both devices get March 2019 security patches, option to select contacts group for sending messages, and a new animation for flight mode with this update. The OTA update is rolling out now for OnePlus 5/5T runs OxygenOS Open Beta.

OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T have already been upgraded to Android 9 Pie in the stable channel and the latest stable build OxygenOS 9.0.4 is now available for download. The stable update adds Google Duo deep integration, better network stability, January 2019 security patches, general bug fixes and system optimizations.

The latest OxygenOS Open Beta 28/26 is based on Android 9 Pie and includes March 2019 security patch, new animation for flight mode, able to select contact groups for sending SMS, optimized notifications for quick settings and optimized battery consumption.

If you would like to move from the stable OxygenOS version to OxygenOS Open Beta, you can download and install OxygenOS Open Beta 28/26 on your OnePlus 5/5T manually.
