As promised earlier, OnePlus released Android Q beta for its brand new devices OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Developers and early adopters are welcome to install the build on their device to know what the future Android update offers. If you are wondering how to install the Android Q Beta on OnePlus 7/7 Pro, here is how it is.

OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro is the latest flagship from the company. Instead of software gimmick, OnePlus gave more importance to speed and performance. Both devices come packed with latest Snapdragon 855 Octa processor, 128GB/256GB storage and 6GB/8GB/12GB RAM out of the box.

While the OnePlus 7 resembles the OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7 Pro features some uniqueness. A 90Hz refresh rate fluid AMOLED display without a notch, triple camera, a pop-up selfie camera, and Warp Charge 30 are the main differences from the low-cost OnePlus 7.

While releasing the Android Q beta for OnePlus 6 and 6T, the company promised the same for the upcoming OnePlus 7/7 Pro. Now it is official. If you own this device, you can install the beta version of Android 10, which will give early glimpses at the upcoming Android OS upgrade.

However, note that the following thing will not work properly once you install Android Q Beta 3 on OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, so take care.

1. Ambient Display is not working

2. System stability issues

3. Cannot send SMS when VoLTE is on

4. Navigation gesture is not working

5. Recovery mode doesn’t work

6. Some apps may not function as expected when running on this Developer preview release

7. Issue with MTP that doesn’t allow you to copy rollback file from PC to Phone
