As announced at the launch, a new OTA update adds ‘Dual View Video’ mode on Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. The dual view video recording mode enables users to record close up and the long shot of a scene at the same time. Huawei P30 Pro uses its two cameras, the main camera, and Super Zoom lens, together to shoot a dual video of a scene.
The update also adds a new super portrait-shooting mode on Huawei P30 Pro. This enables users to make blur edges, progressive Portrait photos with better layer effects. Huawei Vlog is another highlight of this update. Highlight videos are automatically edited with dramatic filters, different speed and unique background music.
Huawei P30/P30 Pro EMUI 9.1.0.153 update also integrates April 2019 security patches, optimizes animation effect and smoothness of sliding back to the desktop with gesture navigation, general bug fixes and other system optimizations.
The dual view video recording mode is rolling out with EMUI version 9.1.0.153, and it is currently available in China. To access the dual-view video option, open the camera and click more. To install the EMUI 9.1.0.153 OTA update, Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro should be on EMUI 9.1.0.135 or 136.
How to download Huawei P30/P30 Pro OTA update
EMUI 9.1.0.153 over the air update is rolling out in phases, so it will take some time to receive the update on all devices. You can check the update manually as given below.
Go to Settings app, select System and choose the option “System updates”. If the update is live in your region, you will see an “Install Now” option. You can also try via Hi-care app.
