How to Quickly Switch Dark Mode on OnePlus Phone

Dark Mode is one of the trendiest software features of late. Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones have a quick toggle tile on the Quick Settings menu to quickly switch between dark and light theme, but OnePlus devices such as OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 6, etc. running Android 10 don’t have it.

In this guide, we let you know how to add a Dark Mode toggle on OnePlus phone’s Quick Settings menu. In this way, you can quickly switch Dark Mode on your OnePlus Phone. Here we use the OnePlus Dark Mode Toggler app to add a Dark Mode tile on the Quick settings menu of OnePlus phone.

Along with the OnePlus Dark Mode Toggler app, the following prerequisites are needed to add Dark Mode toggle on OnePlus phone.

• The phone should be running on stock OxygenOS 10 (not HydrogenOS)
• Magisk installed (root access)

Steps to add Dark Mode Toggle to your OnePlus Phone

1. Install the OnePlus Dark Mode Toggler app from Play Store (link)
2. After installation, there is no need to open the app
3. Swipe down from top of the phone twice to fully open the Quick Settings menu
4. Tap on the Pencil icon to see the unused app tiles.
5. You should see Dark Mode app tile. Long press it and drag it to the Quick Setting section.
6. Now, tap on the newly added Dark Mode tile. It will ask for grant root access. Just grant it.

Now you can quickly switch dark mode on your device without going through the Settings menu.
