Android 8.1 Oreo based official Resurrection Remix v 6.0 is now available for Xiaomi Mi 3 and Mi 4 international variant (cancro). Interested users can download and install the custom ROM and enjoy new features of Oreo. Several Android Oreo based AOSP customs ROMs are available for Mi 3 and Mi 4, but Resurrection Remix v 6.0 brings a ton of features and customization options.
Besides Oreo 8.1 features, the Resurrection Remix custom ROM has its own features and offers several customizations. You can tweak most part of the system to make your device unique. The ROM also support Substratum theme, offers various gestures, animations, and much more.

Installing custom ROM is not a simple process as many think. It might cause trouble if followed incorrectly. Create backup of important data before proceeding to install the custom ROM.
Prerequisites for installing custom ROM on Xiaomi Mi3 and Mi4
– Backup any important data you have on the phone before proceeding with the below steps.
– Requires unlocked bootloader, and latest version of TWRP on the phone
– At least 50% battery charge remaining on your phone
How to Install Resurrection Remix v 6.0 on Xiaomi Mi 3 & Mi 4
Step 1: Download official RR-O-v6.0.0 ROM zip file from here. Also, download Android 8.1 compatible Gapps zip file from here.
Step 2: Copy and save both zip files to your phone’s internal storage.
Step 3: Turn off the phone and boot it into TWRP recovery by pressing and holding Volume Up & Power buttons together.
Step 4: Tap ‘Backup’ and create backup of all partitions
Step 5: Now, tap ‘Wipe’ > Advanced wipe > and wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache.
Step 6: Return to main recovery menu, choose “Install”, select ROM zip file to flash it. Repeat it to flash Gapps zip file.
Step 7: Finally reboot your device by selecting Reboot system option. It will take few minutes to complete the first boot.
Note: If error happened while flashing the ROM, go to TWRP, select mount and unmount system. Then mount system again.
Now, go to Advanced /File manager /system/bin/devicecheck.sh
and tap to chmod. Now, repeat the ROM installation process. Do not wipe anything again in this time.
