Xiaomi and Redmi smartphones have featured Flash on call, which is useful to avoid any missing phone calls. This feature can be helpful when you put your phone in silent mode or using your phone in a noisy environment. Here’s how to enable or disable Flash on Call on your Xiaomi or Redmi Phone.
If you enable flash on call (or flash when ringing) in your Xiaomi or Redmi device, the camera flash will blink upon incoming calls. Also, there is an LED notification light feature for incoming messages on your phone. The flash on call and LED notification light features are turned off on your device.
To enable flash on-call/ flash when ringing for phone calls in Xiaomi and Redmi smartphone, follow these steps.
- Open Settings > and under Apps section, tap on System app settings.
- In the next screen, tap on Call settings > Incoming call settings > and turn on the option Flash when ringing.
To enable LED notification light for incoming messages (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.) in your Redmi or Xiaomi smartphone, follow below-given steps.
- Open Settings > and tap on Apps & notifications.
- In the next screen, tap on Notifications > and on the next screen, turn on the Blink light toggle.
You have now enabled Flash on call and LED notification light in your Xiaomi/Redmi phone. Now to disable both features, go through the above-given steps and turn off both the toggles.
