Android Pie based ColorOS 6.0 stable update for Realme 1 is now available for download. The update brings several new features and UI changes to the first generation Realme phone. Among the many new features, App Drawer and NightScape Mode for the camera are the best features of the ColorOS 6.0 update build CPH1861EX_11_A.39.

Realme is the former sub-brand of Oppo and Realme 1 is the first budget handset from the company. Launched with Android 8.1 Oreo, Realme 1 users can now enjoy the latest Android 9 Pie. ColorOS 6.0 is the major software upgrade for the device. It brings several value-added features and latest security patches (May 2019) for the device.

If you haven’t yet received the ColorOS 6.0 OTA update on your Realme 1, you can download and install the full firmware manually. The company uploaded the ColorOS 6 full firmware package on the server that you can download and install via Recovery menu.

Latest Software update for all Realme phones

1. Copy the downloaded firmware package to the root directory of your phone.

2. Turn off your phone. Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power buttons simultaneously until booting into recovery mode.

3. In recovery, select language > From phone storage > Select the ColouOS OTA package > tap OK to install the OTA.

Once installation completes, tap Reboot to boot your phone into new ColorOS version.
