ColorOS 5.2 Stable update for the Realme 2 Pro has been released. The update includes December 2018 security patches, battery optimization mode, slow motion video recording mode, new Material Design icons, and more. ColorOS 5.2 Stable OTA for the Realme 2 Pro is now available for download that you can flash manually.

Realme 2 Pro ColorOS 5.2 stable update comes with build number RMX1801EX_11.A.13 and rolling out via OTA. The staged OTA roll out will take a couple of days or a week to complete. ColorOS 5.2 stable OTA update is also available for download. You can flash it via stock recovery.

Realme has also released ColorOS 5.2 Stable update for Realme 2, Realme C1 and Realme 1. The update brings several improvements, optimizations, new features, bug fixes and latest December 2018 security patch. All these will improve the overall performance of the device and ensures better security.

Realme 2 Pro ColorOS 5.2 Changelogs:

– Added Screen Battery Optimization mode: Dynamically adjusts the screen contrast and brightness for a balanced image quality with lower power consumption, except in Camera and Gallery apps.
– Added reboot function: You can now swipe up to reboot in the shutdown interface.
– Optimized reminders when Developer Options, Accessibility Mode and Device Manager are on
– Camera: Added Slow Motion video mode.
– New Material Design icons.
– Android Security Patch Level: December 5, 2018.

If you would like to install the new software update manually on your Realme 2 Pro without waiting for the OTA (over the air) update, you may follow below steps.

Download and flash ColorOS 5.2 OTA for Realme 2 Pro

1. Download and flash ColorOS 5.2 OTA [mirror] [here]

2. Copy the package to the root directory of your phone.

3. Turn off your phone. Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power buttons simultaneously until booting into recovery mode.

4. In recovery, select language > From phone storage > Select the ColouOS OTA package > tap OK to install the OTA.

5. Once installation completes, tap Reboot to boot your phone into new ColorOS version.
