The recent ColorOS update for Realme smartphones added a new ‘Flash on Call” feature. If you enable this feature, the camera flash will blink for incoming calls when the screen is locked or off. Flash on call feature is now available on almost all Realme phones. Here is how to turn on this cool feature on your device.
The Flash on call feature isn’t enabled on all Realme smartphones by default. You can find the toggle in the Call settings menu of your device. To get this option, you should first install the latest version of ColorOS on your device.
So, first download and install any available update on your device by going to Settings > System updates. Now, follow the below steps.
- To turn on Flash on call on your Realme smartphone, tap on Settings.
- Go to System apps > Call > and turn on Flash on Call.
Once enabled this feature, the camera flash on your device will blink upon incoming calls when the screen is locked or off.
Flash on call is a feature of ColorOS 6. Realme has announced Android 10 based ColorOS 7 updates for its smartphones, and the first update is scheduled to roll out in January 2020. The flash on call feature may or may not include in ColorOS 7, but it will be near-stock Android and enhance user experience with new features and customizations.
