Asus has released ZenUI 4.0 Safeguard app on Play store for its Zenfone series Android phones. Safeguard is a built-in feature of ZenUI 4.0, Asus latest Android skin and now the app is available on Play store. It means Asus can bring new features and updates the app without updating the ZenUI as one. However, note that the app is available for Asus ZenUI 4.0 phones only, such as Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 3.
ZenUI 4.0 Safeguard is simply an SOS app and offers two main functions – SOS and Report Location. With Report Location feature, it let your friends and family track your path online whenever you send them your location.
You can also trigger the SOS feature to immediately call your preset contact or local emergency number, and send out messages with information on your current location during an emergency.

Note that Asus ZenUI 4.0 is currently available on recently unveiled Asus ZenFone 4 series devices. Asus ZenFone 3 series devices will also be updated to ZenUI 4.0. Interested users can download ZenUI 4.0 Safeguard app from Play store here, if your device is updated to ZenUI 4.0.
