Edge Launcher and a One-handed Sense Home with simple Swipe Anywhere gesture are the two new features of newly launched HTC U11+. HTC may or may not bring these features to its elder devices like HTC U11 in the future software update, but you can try these features right now unofficially by sideloading APKs. If you own HTC U11, then read on to know how to get HTC U11+’s Edge launcher and Edge Sense on it without root.

Thanks to the XDA forum member frank9184, HTC U11+’s Edge Launcher and Swipe Anywhere Sense Home works on HTC 11 without any issue, even though the device is still runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat (HTC U11+ runs on Android 8.0 Oreo). You can download APKs of both files (link below) and sideload manually on your HTC U11.

HTC-U11-Plus

The Swipe Anywhere offers single-handed experience to your homescreen. This feature lets you access all your notifications and apps with one hand. And the Edge Sense feature lets you use any app with a squeeze.

For your information, the HTC U11+ is a beautifully designed device with liquid glass surface and IP68 water and dust protection.
