The AOSP based custom ROM version 6.1.0 is now available for download and it supports a wide range of devices, such as OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 3, OnePlus 2, Nexus 5X, Moto G4 Play, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 3, HTC One M8, ZenFone Max Pro M1, Zuk Z1 and more.

Resurrection Remix is not everyone’s choice, but the custom ROM has many fans. If you are interested and want to enjoy the latest Android 8.1 Oreo on your device, here is how to flash the official Resurrection Remix 6.1.0 on your device. Before installing the custom ROM, backup every data on your phone.

Requirements:

1. Unlocked bootloader and TWRP recovery installed on the device
2. Backup all data you have on the phone.
3. Battery charge above 50% to prevent accidental shutdown while flashing.

How to Install official Resurrection Remix 6.1.0

1. Download latest version of Resurrection Remix (RR-O-v6.1.0 zip) for your device from here.

2. Download Android 8.1 compatible Gapps zip file from here.

3. Transfer both zip files to your phone’s storage.

4. Switch off the phone and boot into TWRP

5. Choose ‘Backup’ and create a full backup.

6. Now, choose ‘Wipe’ > Advanced Wipe and wipe Cache, System and Data partitions.

7. Now, choose ‘Install’ > navigate to ROM zip file and flash it. Once done, flash Gapps zip file as well and then reboot.
