Xiaomi Redmi 4 users can now enjoy the MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM (MIUI 9.1.1.0.NAMMIEI) and its new features. As promised earlier, Xiaomi starts rolling out the MIUI 9 Global Stable update for second batch of devices. Redmi 4/Redmi 4X included in this list along with Mi 5s and Mi Max. All Redmi 4 users will get the OTA update (MIUI 9.1.1.0.NAMMIEI) by November 20.

The new update comes as MIUI 9.1.1.0.NAMMIEI for Redmi 4 and the OTA update weighs around 257 MB. The performance optimized MIUI 9 comes with UI changes and various new features. You can enjoy features like Split screen, new animations, screen recorder, latest Google security patches (October 2017), improved silent mode and more.

Redmi 4 Starts Getting MIUI 9 1.1.0 Global Stable Update

The MIUI V9.1.1.0 Global Stable update for Redmi 4 is based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and includes October 2017 (1- 10 – 2017) security patches. Redmi 4 users will get the MIUI 9 (MIUI V9.1.1.0 NAMMIEI) update via OTA (over-the-air), which weighs around 257 MB.

Please note that, if you are using older version of ROM (for example, MIUI 7 or MIUI 8 stable ROM), you should install the Fastboot ROM. Other users (runs on MIUI 8/9 Developer ROM) can install the updates via Updater app.
