Oppo’s former sub-brand Realme has invited beta testers for its mysterious Project X program. Realme not yet disclosed what the Project X means, but reports suggest that it might be RealmeOS – its custom Android version. As you all know, Realme’s smartphones are currently running on Oppo’s ColorOS.

Realme 3 Pro owners can enroll for the Mystery Project X beta program if they have experience in beta testing of pre-release software and reporting bugs. Bugs and feedback need to be expressed in English. The beta program is limited to a few numbers of users, so act fast if you were interested.

Realme 3 Pro is the upgraded version of Realme 3. Runs on the Android 9.0 Pie (ColorOS 6), the budget phone features a 6.3-inch dewdrop full-view display (FHD+ 2340 by 1080 pixels) and comes coated with Corning Glass 5 protection.

It comes packed with Snapdragon 710 AIE octa-core processor, 6GB/8 GB internal storage options and 4GB/6GB RAM options. The phone powers by a 4045 mAh battery and supports VOOC Flash Charge 3.0. It also features dual rear camera (16MP+5MP) and a 25MP AI front camera.

Since the launch, the device received a couple of software update with new camera features, and bug fixes. Recently, Realme rolled out July 2019 security patches with touch screen bug fix.
