Realme 5 owners need to wait nearly a year to get the latest Android 10 update, while a new update hit the unit with several camera improvements and Digital Wellbeing. The new update bumps the software version to RMX1911EX_11_A.13 on Realme 5 and available for download now.
Realme 5 is a camera-centric phone, and the new RMX1911EX_11_A.13 (ColorOS 6.1) update improves various camera parameters. The update will improve clarity in HDR mode, improve color performance and clarity of the front camera, as well as the color performance of macro photography.
The update also adds Digital Wellbeing on the phone. This new feature offers a set of tools for tracking and managing your smartphone usage. You can view how much time you have spent on your device, set time limits for apps, and many more.
Optimized multi-finger touch experience for third-party apps and improved system stability are other changes of this update. Realme starts rolling out the OTA update for the phone. If you cannot wait for the OTA, here is the download link for the firmware file.

Download and flash ColorOS 6.1 RMX1911EX_11_A.13 update file from this link or directly from here to your phone storage. (Size 2.34GB, MD5: 79D5C79D99A20FEDAA8761F71F8DC27E)
Turn off your phone. Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power buttons simultaneously until booting into recovery mode.
In recovery, select language > From phone storage > Select the ColouOS OTA package > tap OK to begin installation.
Once installation completes, tap Reboot to boot your phone into new ColorOS version.
