July 25, 2019: Good news for custom ROM fans. Latest Paranoid Android beta updates adds Alert Slider support for OnePlus devices, support under the screen fingerprint unlock, adds new gesture functions, brings expandable Volume Panel and more. The Android Pie based Paranoid Android ROM is available for many devices with several awesome features. Full changelog (BETA-20190725) of the update is given below.

Paranoid Android 9 Pie beta builds are here for a little while now. The PA team just updated the beta builds with a number of changes, new additions and support for Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Sony Xperia X, etc. In addition, starting from these beta builds, the OS comes signed with PA’s private keys, so it will require a clean install if you were already on older beta.

The latest Android 9 Pie based AOSPA beta builds comes with upgraded source base code (LA.UM.7.3.r1-06700-sdm845.0), reset for PA features settings, Fast Charging indicator and more. Update 23-2-2019:

Paranoid Android extended the AOSPA Pie beta build support for more devices. Now it is available for Xiaomi Mi A1, OnePlus 6 and 6T.

The AOSPA Android 9 Pie beta builds are available for Essential PH-1, Sony Xperia X, Xperia X Compact, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 pro, Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 6, Pocophone F1, Mi 8 and Mi Mix 2S. In addition, Paranoid Android QSSI system images are available for OnePlus 5 and 5T. The development team will release Pie builds for Google Pixel, OnePlus and other devices soon.

How to Install Paranoid Android Pie Builds

In order to install Paranoid Android Pie build (AOSPA Android 9 Pie beta builds), your device’s bootloader should be unlocked and latest version TWRP recovery installed on it.
