Following the release of Android 8.1 Oreo based OxygenOS Open Beta 6 for OnePlus 5 and Open Beta 4 for OnePlus 5T, the company released OxygenOS Open Beta 32 for OnePlus 3 and Open Beta 23 for OnePlus 3T with February 2018 security patch. The release is still based on Android 8.0 Oreo, and there is no information about Android 8.1 update for both devices.

OxygenOS Open Beta 32 and 23 brings new auto pick up gesture for incoming call, new features to Gallery app, application data migration for OnePlus Switch app, as well as February 2018 security patch, general bug fixes and improvements.

Devices run OxygenOS Open Beta channel will receive the new update via OTA. Other users can download the factory image and install it onto the device manually via Fastboot. The installation process is not too complicated, but requires knowledge on ADB and fastboot.

If you would like to try the new features of OxygenOS on your OnePlus 3 or 3T, then download and install the latest OxygenOS Open Beta 32 for OnePlus 3 or OxygenOS Open Beta 23 for OnePlus 3T. Keep in mind that since this is beta OS, it is possible you will run into bugs and other instabilities.
