After being rolled out OxygenOS Open Beta 6 for Oneplus 5, the company just released OxygenOS Open Beta 4 for OnePlus 5T that update the device to Android 8.1 Oreo. If you want to update your OnePlus 5T to Android 8.1 Oreo, then download OxygenOS Open Beta 4 (link below) and install it manually.

OnePlus 5T OxygenOS Open Beta 4 update weighs around 1.6 GB and includes all the new features of OxygenOS Open Beta 6 such as February 2018 security patch, auto pick up gesture for incoming call, optimized full-screen gesture support, more clock styles for ambient display, as well as general bug fixes and performance boost.

OnePlus 5T

If you are on OxygenOS Open Beta channel, you will receive the OTA, or you have to download and sideload the update via ADB. Keep in mind that since this is beta OS, it is possible you will run into bugs and other instabilities.

How to Install OxygenOS Open Beta 4 (Android 8.1) on OnePlus 5T

1. Download OnePlus 5T OxygenOS Open Beta 4 from here or here to your PC.

2. Enable ‘USB Debugging’ on your phone.

3. Switch off the phone, press Power + Volume Down buttons together to boot into stock recovery.

4. In recovery, choose “Install from USB” option, tap OK to confirm. A screen with “You are in sideload mode” will be displayed.

5. Connect your phone to PC/Mac and issue the following command in command prompt /terminal

For Windows: adb sideload File Name.zip
For Mac/Linux: ./adb sideload File Name.zip

[File Name.zip=OxygenOS Open Beta file name]

Wait a while, your phone should now update to the selected build and reboot automatically to take you into new OxygenOS. (Source)
