The next major firmware update from Xiaomi, the MIUI 12 over Android 11 (Android R) will release later this year. Usually, Xiaomi releases major firmware updates by Q4 of the year, but the beta program will start early. That said, the MIUI 12 beta program will start anytime soon now, and the stable update can expect by December 2020.
