Each year Xiaomi releases a new MIUI version with new features, UI makeover, and existing feature enhancements. The new MIUI 11 features a minimalistic design and includes a new customizable AOD, floating calculator, new Mi doc viewer, Quick replies, Mint keyboard, dynamic sound effects, and more.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 series smartphones are starts getting the latest MIUI 11 update. The update hits the Redmi Note 7, 7S, and 7 Pro global and Indian variants. The software version is MIUI, and users start receiving the update through an OTA.

MIUI stable update for Redmi Note 7 series smartphones is available for download. You can download the recovery ROM from the new MIUI download portal or the link below. To install the MIUI 11 update, follow the instruction.

  1. Open Updater app > tap on menu (3 vertical dots) > tap on ‘Reboot to recovery mode‘.
  2. In recovery, highlight ‘Install update.zip to system’ menu (use Volume buttons) > then press the Power button to select it.
  3. Your device will start installing the ROM and will reboot to the system after completing the process.

Download MIUI recovery ROM for Redmi Note 7 and 7S code-named Lavender [Download Link], and MIUI for Redmi Note 7 Pro code-named Violet [Download Link].

Note that the above files are for Indian variant Redmi Note 7 series smartphones. Also, MIUI is based on Android 9, and users may wait a little longer to get the new Android 10.
