New Game Mode – The new Game Mode in macOS Sonoma prioritizes CPU and GPU usage when the user is playing games. It will also ensure reduced latency when using devices like AirPods and wireless controllers.
Desktop Widgets – macOS Sonoma lets you add interactive widgets on the desktop from the new widget gallery. Previously, they were on the right side of the screen under the Notification Center. Also, you can play a podcast, turn off the lights, and more from widgets.
Aerial Screensavers – macOS 14 comes with slow-motion video screensavers, which feature the rolling hills of Sonoma in Northern California, the sweeping skyline of Hong Kong, the sandstone buttes of Monument Valley in Arizona, and more.
