Honor 7X in India gets GPU Turbo and Call Recording feature with a new software update version 8.0.0.360. Huawei starts rolling out the OTA update with latest security patches, Party mode and other improvements that will upgrade the system to BND-AL10 8.0.0.360 (C675CUSTC675D1). Here is how to download and install the GPU Turbo update manually on Honor 7X.
GPU Turbo Acceleration, Call recording and Party mode are the highlighted features of the new 8.0.0.360 update for Honor 7X. GPU Turbo technology will ensure smooth gaming experience on the phone, while the Party Mode lets you synchronize music playback across phones for better sound effects. The Call recording feature lets you record all your phone calls.
If you have not received the 8.0.0.360 OTA for this update, check it manually by going to Settings > About Phone > System Updates > check for the new firmware. Also, make sure you have the latest version of the System Update app installed on your Honor 7X.
Technically talented owners can download the GPU Turbo update file (8.0.0.360) and install it manually. The update is currently available on Huawei servers that you can download and flash through dload method.
Keep in mind that the update file given below is for Huawei Honor 7X BND-AL10 C675 Indian variant only. Do not flash it on other variant. The dload method is as described below. Before proceeding, ensure the following:
– Backup all data like contacts, messages, and apps.
– At least 50-60% charge remaining on the phone.
Installation Instructions:
1. Download BND-AL10C675CUSTC675D1B360 (8.0.0.360) full update.zip files from here (1.7GB)
2. On your phone, create ‘dload’ folder at the root of the SDcard.
3. Unzip the downloaded Update.zip file. Copy and save the “UPDATE.APP” into the ‘dload’ folder.
4. Power off the phone, press the Volume UP and Volume Down keys, and then press the Power key to enter the Software Upgrade Mode.
5. Flashing will start. When the progress bar stop, the phone will restart automatically.
