Honor 6X in India starts getting a new software update B360 with VoLTE support for all operators. Now, the device supports VoLTE for Jio, Airtel, Idea and VoLTE switch for all operators in India. VoLTE (voice over LTE) is a new communication protocol that enables the handset to make calls using the mobile data. The B360 update does not include any other major changes.
The OTA (over the air) update, which weighs around 567MB starts hitting the Honor 6X BLN-L22 variant and upgrade the device from software version BLN-L22C675B350CUSTC675D004 to BLN-L22C675B360CUSTC675D002. You can also download and install the update manually. Check out the guide below.
If you have not received the update notification for B360, check it manually on your device by heading to Settings > About phone > System update. You can also force update your phone by using Huawei’s HiCare app. Both methods are easy and safe to proceed.
You can also use the manual installation guide below to update your device to latest version. Check your device’s software version by going to Settings > About phone > and look for BLN-L22C675B350CUSTC675D004.
The below given file is for Honor 6X BLN-L22 (India) variants only. Also, your device should be on firmware version B350 to apply the update.

1. Download Honor 6X B360 update.zip from here and unzip it.
2. On your phone, create ‘dload’ folder in the root of your SD card. Save all the unzipped firmware files in it.
3. Open Dialer and dial *#*#2846579#*#*
4. It will open software upgrade menu.
5. In the menu, select Software Upgrade > SD card Upgrade, then select and run the update.
6. Once the process is completed, reboot your phone.
