It seems that Samsung starts upgrading their non-premium devices to Android Oreo. After releasing Galaxy A5 (2017) Oreo update, Galaxy A3 (2017) has also gets Android 8.0 Oreo update. Samsung has released the Oreo OTA update in Russia for Galaxy A3 SM-A320F variant and has version number A320FXXU3CRD4/ A320FOXY3CRD4.

As Galaxy A5 Oreo update, the Galaxy A3 Oreo update will also bring news features, performance enhancements and April 2018 Android security patches to the phone. Apparently, the update has also expected to bring Samsung latest Experience 9.0 UI to the device. Complete changelog not yet available.

Galaxy-A3-2017 gets Android Oreo update

Since the OTA update rolls out in phases, it will take a few days to complete the roll out. Meanwhile, you can check the new update on your phone manually by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Update.

Galaxy A3 Oreo firmware is also available for download now, which you can use to upgrade your phone to Oreo via Odin and a PC. For example, if you have problem installing the update through OTA, you can use the manual method, but we strongly NOT recommend.

You can download Galaxy A3 SM-A320F Oreo update file from Sammobile or using Sarmfirm tool. To install it manually, you may follow this guide. Keep in mind that you need latest Odin tool (3.13.1 or later) that supports Oreo. In addition, users are recommended to back up their data before proceeding with the update process.
