Finally Meizu has also starts releasing Android 7.0 Nougat based Flyme OS for its devices. At first, Meizu PRO and Meizu PRO 6S will get the Android 7.0 Nougat based Flyme OS (build as closed beta. It is expected that more devices will be added in the coming days. The closed beta (called Flyme Daily) weighs around 1.4 GB and it will be available on supported devices once you register for the closed beta.

The Flyme daily closed beta will bring enhanced system performance, camera features, better connectivity, UI changes, and features like payment authorization for several services via the fingerprint sensor and more. However, since it is a closed beta builds, several things may not work as expected.



To get Android 7.0 Nougat based Flyme OS closed beta, users need to register on the official Flyme website with device details and your region. Once the registration is completed, users can download the first version of the closed beta called Flyme Daily, which weighs round 1.4GB.

As said above, currently Meizu PRO and Meizu PRO 6S are eligible devices for Flyme OS Nougat closed beta testing. Meizu PRO 6 Plus, PRO 5, MX6, Charm Blue E, Charm Blue Max, Charm Blue Note 5, Charm Blue Note 3, and nine other devices will get the update in the coming days.

Nougat Flyme OS open beta and stable release schedule is unclear. However, it seems that Nougat Flyme OS open beta will be released by the end of this month and the stable build will be released within two months. (Source)
