Realme 5 has received ColorOS 6.0.1 update with a number of system improvements, camera improvements and August 2019 security patch. The update comes as RMX1911EX_11_A.12 and available on all Realme 5 units.
The top feature of Realme 5 is the quad-camera with a dedicated Macro camera. The RMX1911EX_11_A.12 update will improve rear main camera resolution and portrait mode effect. The update will be available via OTA and it requires a couple of days to complete the rollout

Download and flash ColorOS 6.1 RMX1911EX_11_A.12 update file from this link or directly from here to your phone storage. (Size 2.34GB, MD5: 848C8899F85A2BEB37D5E8B1D1D39A7F)
Turn off your phone. Press and hold the Volume Down and the Power buttons simultaneously until booting into recovery mode.
In recovery, select language > From phone storage > Select the ColouOS OTA package > tap OK to begin installation.
Once installation completes, tap Reboot to boot your phone into new ColorOS version.
