After being rolled out the MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM for Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi Max 2, Redmi Note 4 has also got the stable update. MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM (V9.0.3.0) for Redmi Note 4 has been released and will be available via OTA. Experienced users can also download and install the MIUI 9 update (fastboot/recovery) manually.

MIUI 9 will bring lightning fast performance on any supported Redmi or Mi devices. It comes with a handful of new features like Split screen, new icons, new animations, latest security patches, improved silent mode and more. The update is based on Android 7.0 Nougat and includes October 2017 (1- 10 – 2017) security patches.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 users will get the MIUI 9 (V9.0.3.0.NCFMIEI) Stale ROM OTA (over-the-air) update in the coming days. If you have not received the update notification yet, check it by going to the about device section.

Please note that, if you are using older version of ROM (for example, MIUI 7 or MIUI 8 stable ROM), you should install the Fastboot ROM. Other users (runs on MIUI 8/9 Developer ROM) can install the updates via Updater app.
