Google released Android 10, the major software upgrade for the year 2019. It is currently available on some devices, like Google Pixels, Essential Phone, OnePlus 7/7 Pro (in the form of beta) and Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro. Developers are now busy with working on fully functional Android 10 custom ROMs for many devices.
The good news is that the first build of Android 10 based AOSP custom ROM is now available for Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. The ROM is almost stable with most things working (RIL, Sensors, Fingerprint, Wi-Fi, camera, etc.). If you are excited to experience the new OS on your ZenFone Max Pro M1, then here is how to get it now.
Note that a special TWRP recovery needs to install on your Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 before installing this AOSP custom ROM. TWRP for Android Pie won’t work. Also, special Gapps (Android 10 compatible Google apps) are required to get Google features.
