How to Install Galaxy S8’s Bixby AI Assistant on Galaxy S7

Samsung Galaxy S8’s exclusive feature, Bixby AI personal assistant can now be try out on other Samsung Galaxy phones runs Android 7.0 Nougat, such as Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6. Samsung Bixby AI Assistant is similar to Google AI Assistant, but we are not sure how smart Bixby is compared to Google Assistant just yet. It is constantly learning how you use your phone, and helps you to do everything you want.

Galaxy S8’s Bixby AI Assistant can now try out on Galaxy S7/S7 edge and possibly on other Galaxy phones running on Android Nougat. Bixby APK file is now available online for downloading, which you can install on your Galaxy phone (no root access is required). However, you should also install Galaxy S8 launcher to work Bixby.

1. First, install Galaxy S8 launcher. Download S8 Launcher APK from here (source) and install it.

2. Then, download Bixby APK from here or here (source) and install it.

3. Go to Galaxy S8 launcher homescreen setting menu (long pressing on home screen)

4. Activate Bixby and reboot your phone.

You are now ready to use Bixby. Swipe left on the home screen for Bixby, ask it and see how it interacts with you. Bixby can understand your voice, touch and text, so you can use any of these to say your phone what you need.
